TruthWorks (TW) is a marketplace that connects clients with People and Culture experts and resources to solve any People and Culture challenge.
We don’t employ consultants or sell fixed teams. We bring together independent Experts and match them to the specific challenge you’re facing – supported by shared standards, tools and ways of working so delivery feels joined-up and high quality. You pay for thinking and impact, not hierarchy, overhead or recycled frameworks.
We specialise in People and Culture challenges. In practice, that means anything across HR, Internal Communications, Change Management, Learning and Development, DEI, Employer Branding, Organisational Culture, Employee Experience and more. Our Experts can cover everything from tactical quick fixes to long-term strategic, complex challenges or even secondments.
TruthWorks is not an open directory. Every Expert on the platform is carefully selected and verified before they can work with clients.
We draw from our thriving community of People and Culture freelancers, alongside referrals and direct approaches from experienced practitioners. All Experts go through a verification process that assesses their experience, way of working and ability to operate at a senior level.
We also look beyond credentials. Experts are evaluated on how they think, how they challenge and how they communicate - including our hallmark traits of speaking truth to power and using clear, compelling storytelling.
Only those who meet TW’s standards are invited onto the platform.
No – and that’s intentional! TW Experts are independent practitioners who work across different organizations, sectors, and challenges. That independence brings you a broader perspective, sharper thinking and real-world relevance – rather than insight shaped by a single firm’s models or incentives. Their independence is your advantage.
If you have an exclusivity need – for example, within a specific industry, market, or time period – that can be agreed directly as part of the engagement. TW supports those conversations so expectations are clear on all sides.
TruthWorks gives you access to independent Experts who are supported by shared tools, methodologies, training and ways of working. That means you’re not just hiring an individual; you’re getting the benefit of a connected, continuously developed network, without losing the value of an independent.
TW also removes significant procurement and delivery overhead. Instead of vetting, contracting, and onboarding each consultant separately for every project, you do the formal bit just once – all through the platform. We handle verification, financial, legal and procurement needs upfront, making it faster and easier to bring in the right expertise again and again as needs change.
In short, using TruthWorks means you get to combine the quality and perspective of independent Experts with the reliability, scale, and simplicity that you’d usually associate with larger firms… but avoid the associated cost or rigidity.
Pricing depends on the expertise, scope and duration of the work. Every Expert has their own day rate and pricing structure and it is between the Client and the Expert to agree a fair and transparent price for the brief. The price you see includes all platform fees and transaction costs. No hidden charges at checkout.
We regularly work with our Experts to help them set a market competitive rate so you always know you are getting great value.
We use a two-stage contractual model designed in collaboration with global procurement and legal teams.
First, the client enters into an overarching agreement with TruthWorks. This covers the platform relationship, including commercial terms, legal protections, compliance, escalation procedures, and ways of working. For procurement teams, this means the core due diligence is handled once.
Then, for each individual engagement, a clear Scope of Services and engagement agreement is put in place directly between the client and the Expert. This sets out the specific brief, deliverables, timelines, and fees for that piece of work, within the framework already established through TruthWorks.
This approach balances procurement efficiency with the clarity and rigor required for individual pieces of work.
Signing up takes just two minutes. After this, you’ll be able to explore the platform, shape your brief and connect with relevant Experts. At the point of registration, an email will be triggered that asks you to sign our standard Terms and Conditions. You are still able to browse and even request calls, but you will be restricted from booking an Expert until the Ts&Cs have been signed.
